Related to your clown, I was thinking about clown displays the other day, and it occurred to me that the Everly Brothers’ Cathy’s Clown would be very, very unsettling playing quietly on an “AM radio” (Bluetooth speaker inside prop) slowed down slightly. It’s the trifecta - actually having the word clown in it, being sinisterly “innocent”out of context like anything else from the late 50s/early 60s, and actually being maudlin and minor key.

Anyway, that’s what I would be doing if I had a clown.
